Through the intake or contact forms on this site, we collect information you provide directly: name, business name, email address, phone number, business type and license status, and a description of the filings or services you are asking us to handle.

During the course of an engagement, we collect additional information necessary to track and prepare the filings we manage on your behalf. The categories and sensitivity of that information depend on the engagement and are addressed in the engagement letter or services agreement between you and Okanna.

We also collect standard technical data automatically — IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited — through server logs and analytics.

Intake form information is used to assess whether Okanna is positioned to serve your matter, prepare for an initial conversation, and communicate with you about your inquiry.

Engagement information is used by Okanna's staff to track your deadlines, prepare your filings, and coordinate with the accountant, attorney, or other professionals you have asked us to work alongside.

We do not sell or share your information. We do not use it for advertising and do not transmit it to data brokers or marketing platforms.

Okanna does not sell, rent, or share your information with any outside party for marketing, referral, or commercial purposes.

Inside Okanna, access to your information is limited to the personnel whose involvement is necessary to deliver the filings and services you have engaged us for. All personnel are bound by written confidentiality obligations. Where you have asked us to coordinate with your own accountant or attorney, we share only what is necessary to complete the work you have asked us to do.

Okanna is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Communications between you and Okanna are not protected by attorney-client privilege.

If your matter has legal questions that require privileged communication, direct those communications to your own attorney. We are happy to coordinate with the attorney you already use.

We use a limited number of operational service providers to run the site and the business — hosting, analytics, email delivery, and similar — each engaged under contract with appropriate data protection terms. These providers process data on our behalf and may not use it for any other purpose.

We do not share information with any other external party except as required by law, in response to lawful process, or to protect the rights and safety of Okanna and its users.

We retain intake information for up to 24 months following your last interaction with us where no engagement results. Engagement records — filings prepared on your behalf, supporting documentation, and the deadline and submission history we maintain for your account — are retained for the duration of the engagement and for a period afterward consistent with the recordkeeping obligations of the underlying filings (typically the longer of seven years or the period required by the agency the filing was made with).

You may request deletion of your intake information at any time using the contact address below. Engagement records subject to a regulatory retention obligation will be deleted only at the end of the applicable retention period.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, subject to the retention obligations above. Oklahoma residents may also request disclosure of what categories of information we have collected.

This site uses cookies for analytics. We use a privacy-respecting analytics provider and do not deploy advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking. You may disable cookies in your browser without affecting site functionality.

Cannabis remains a controlled substance under federal law. Information you submit may relate to cannabis business operations. Use of this site does not confer any protection under federal law, and submission of information to Okanna does not establish any privilege or protection that would not otherwise exist under applicable law.
