Through the intake or contact forms on this site, we collect information you provide directly: name, business name, email address, phone number, business type and license status, and a description of the services or filings you are seeking assistance with.

During the course of an engagement, we collect additional information necessary to deliver the services you have engaged us for. The categories and sensitivity of that information depend on the engagement and are addressed in the engagement letter or services agreement between you and the licensed professional serving you.

We also collect standard technical data automatically — IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited — through server logs and analytics.

Intake form information is used to assess whether Okanna is positioned to serve your matter, route your inquiry to an appropriate licensed professional within our internal network, and communicate with you about your inquiry.

Engagement information is used by the licensed professional serving you to deliver the services described in your engagement letter, and by Okanna's administrative and support personnel to coordinate that delivery — including through Okanna's internal filing management system.

We do not use your information for advertising and do not transmit it to data brokers or marketing platforms.

Okanna does not sell, rent, or share your information with any party outside Okanna for marketing, referral, or commercial purposes.

Inside Okanna, access to your information is limited to the personnel and licensed professionals whose involvement is necessary for the services you have requested or engaged. All personnel and contracted professionals are bound by written confidentiality obligations.

Where your engagement involves a licensed attorney, communications between you and that attorney for the purpose of seeking legal advice are subject to attorney-client privilege under applicable rules of professional conduct. The scope of privilege is governed by those rules and by the laws of the relevant jurisdiction, not by this policy.

Communications you have with Okanna personnel who are not the licensed attorney serving you — including intake personnel and administrative staff — may not be protected by attorney-client privilege, even though they are subject to confidentiality obligations under contract.

If preserving privilege is important to your matter, direct sensitive communications to your assigned attorney rather than to general Okanna channels.

We use a limited number of operational service providers to run the site and the business — hosting, analytics, email delivery, and similar — each engaged under contract with appropriate data protection terms. These providers process data on our behalf and may not use it for any other purpose.

We do not share information with any other external party except as required by law, in response to lawful process, or to protect the rights and safety of Okanna and its users.

We retain intake information for up to 24 months following your last interaction with us where no engagement results. Engagement records are retained in accordance with the record-retention obligations applicable to the licensed professional who served you and any contractual retention requirements; these typically extend beyond 24 months.

You may request deletion of your intake information at any time using the contact address below.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, subject to the retention obligations above. Oklahoma residents may also request disclosure of what categories of information we have collected.
